A keynote by Fredrik Ekström: Stressed About Getting Dressed

As consumer concerns about overconsumption and sustainability grow, wardrobes have become an untapped business resource. For fashion brands, the secondhand market represents not just an opportunity but a necessity to stay ahead.

Fredrik Ekström, brand strategist and founder of Above The Clouds, will share exclusive insights from the NXT Sustainable Consumer Report, based on data from over 2,500 individuals across Sweden, Finland, Norway, and Denmark. With 20+ years of experience in consumer behavior, sustainability, and branding, Fredrik will delve into the shift towards secondhand fashion, explain what drives it, and show how brands can capitalize on it.

Discover the three emerging consumer archetypes in the green economy, their unique motivations, and why secondhand has become a top priority for sustainable fashion. Fredrik will also discuss how brands can distinguish hype from genuine business growth opportunities in resale.

Ninyes Inc – Bringing Sustainable Growth to Fashion Brands

With Therese Lyander & Mikko Siukosaari

Ninyes believes that every fashion brand can grow by integrating new revenue streams from resale and secondhand. We connect brands to the ever-growing secondhand market with our fully managed resale-as-a-service (R-a-a-S) system tailored for responsible fashion brands.

In this webinar, meet Therese Lyander, head of the Nordic market, and Mikko Siukosaari, Ninyes’ Co-founder. They will guide you through the different resale models, including integrated P2P marketplaces, external secondhand platforms (e.g., Tradera, Sellpy, Vinted), and the fully managed resale model offered by Ninyes across the EU.

We’ll also cover how brands can work with a single partner to navigate the new EU regulations taking effect in 2025. Ninyes’ circular business model has been recognized last year with the Finnish Fashion Award and eBay’s Circular Fashion Fund prize and we are part of the Ellen MacArthur Circular Fashion Startup Index.
