Ninyes wins Life Cycle Extender award at Finland’s Circular Fashion Competition

Ninyes has won the Life Cycle Extender (Elinkaaren pidentäjä) category of the 2026 Circular Fashion Competition, presented on 16 October at the I love me fair at Messukeskus Helsinki. The competition is organised by I love me and Jalotus ry.

What the jury said: Ninyes makes resale a natural part of the fashion business, elevates the perceived value of pre-owned items, and fosters a shift in consumer behavior through a concrete solution. The transition toward a circular economy requires the reuse of products; with its solution, Ninyes demonstrates how the value of items already manufactured can be preserved and their lifecycles extended. The solution is timely, impactful, and necessary.

Ninyes helps fashion brands bring used products, returns and surplus stock back into sale under their own name. Secondhand becomes a channel the brand runs and earns from.

Elli Jaakola, Head of E-com & Production: “Resale and repair both keep clothes in use longer. What makes either one scale is that it pays. When resale is a profitable channel for brands, circularity stops being a side project.”
